This may involve creating a vision board, developing an action plan, or scheduling strategic activities to get you moving in your adjusted direction. Sometimes, this includes researching possible educational pursuits, making updates to resumes, or beginning a job search. Most importantly, however, this step requires you to surrender and trust yourself. There will be many opportunities for you to practice working with your strategy and authority throughout this phase.

4. Experiment & Feedback - I don’t believe in trial and error. Life is a grand experiment and we are constantly receiving feedback from the voices we make. The journey toward living your dharma is ongoing. This phase provides a safe space for you to experiment with different potentialities and assess feedback as it arises. We'll work together to test-drive various paths and refine your goals and vision accordingly.

5. Embodiment - The final stage is about integrating your dharma into your daily life. Here, we'll focus on building sustainable habits and developing routines and practices that support you in living in alignment with your purpose. You’ll hone your centering menu and mental health support tools so that you can come back to them regularly and remain grounded. Upon concluding your journey, you’ll have a clear action plan for moving forward into your aligned life, designed exclusively by you, for ease, fulfillment, abundance, and joy.

Deconditioning: What is it and why is it important?

Deconditioning refers to the process of unpacking and releasing the social, cultural, and personal constructs that have influenced our thoughts, beliefs, values, and behaviors throughout our lives. It involves peeling away layers of external pressures and widely-held expectations to reconnect with our truest selves. These are the layers of conditioning, and they can subtly nudge us away from living our most authentic and fulfilling lives.

Conditioning can come from various sources, like:

  • Family and Upbringing - The projections and assumptions instilled in us since childhood ("You should be a doctor," "Always put family first").

  • Society and Culture - The prevailing norms and standards of our environment ("You need a stable job," "Success means material wealth").

  • Media and Education - The messages we receive through various forms of information ("This degree guarantees a good job," "Beauty is defined by...").

  • Religion and Institutions - The suppositions of good vs. bad, right vs. wrong, etc. (“Men wear the pants in the family,” gender and sexual orientation intolerances).

While these influences can shape us positively, they can also limit our potential. Beliefs like "you're not tough enough" or "retirement means slowing down" can create internal barriers, preventing us from exploring new possibilities and pursuing our deepest desires.

Recognizing Your Conditioning

Here are some signs that conditioning might be holding you back:

  • A nagging sense of "Is this it?" - You feel like something is missing, even when you achieve seemingly "successful" milestones.

  • Self-doubt and limiting beliefs - You hold negative beliefs about yourself that prevent you from taking action or pursuing your dreams.

Using Human Design as a Tool for Setting & Achieving Aligned Goals

What is Human Design?

Human Design is a fascinating system that integrates ancient wisdom with modern science, astrology, the I Ching, Kabbalah, and the chakra system. At its core, Human Design reveals the unique energetic architecture of each individual, offering profound insights into our inherent nature, potential, and purpose.

In my first encounter with Human Design, I was blown away by how spot on my chart was. As I dove deeper and learned more about how I was uniquely constructed, it became this massive permission slip that allowed me to fully embrace all parts of me, especially the ones that I had toned down or even turned off completely because of conditioning or some other experience that painted those traits as undesirable. Fast forward to today and I will profess that trusting my authority and leaning into my strategy has led me to living a life that was only a dream years ago.

A word of caution - the first time you see your chart may be overwhelming. There are many intricacies and nuances to reading a chart, but for the purposes of this blog post, we are keeping it easy by only focusing on the following 4 points.

Key Elements of Human Design

Energy Type

Your Energy Type is the foundational aspect of your Human Design. It categorizes you into one of five types: Manifestor, Generator, Manifesting Generator, Projector, or Reflector. Each type embodies distinct energetic qualities that shape how you interact with the world and harness your creative power.

Strategy

Aligned with your Energy Type, your Strategy outlines the most harmonious way for you to navigate through life, make decisions, and engage with opportunities. From waiting to respond (Generators), to initiating action (Manifestors), and beyond, your Strategy is your guiding compass for living in flow and authenticity.

Authority

Your Authority is your internal decision-making mechanism. It encompasses your unique way of processing information, making choices, and discerning your truth. Whether it's through emotional clarity, gut instincts, intuition, or another form of inner knowing, honoring your Authority empowers you to make choices that deeply resonate with your soul's journey.

Manifestation Type

This key aspect sheds light on the way you manifest your desires and intentions in the world. Understanding your Manifestation Type allows you to co-create with the universe in a way that is aligned with your energetic blueprint, amplifying your capacity to manifest your dreams with grace and precision. To determine your type, locate the 4 arrows at the top of your chart. Find the bottom right arrow. If it is pointing left, you are specific manifestor. This means that you need to get clear on the details of what you want to call in and really define it. Conversely, if it is pointing right, you are a non-specific manifestor. You activate best by being more general in what you’d like to receive.

Choose the right crystals
The first step is to choose the right crystals that resonate with your goals and the outcomes you’re looking to achieve. Some crystals are particularly beneficial for specific astrological signs or human design types, while others may be more general in their properties. You can research online, visit a crystal shop, or schedule a Deep Dive session with Michele to find the right crystals and practices for you.

Cleanse and charge your crystals
Once you have chosen your crystals, it’s important to cleanse them of any negative energy they may have picked up before you received them. There are several ways to cleanse crystals, such as using smoke, water, or sunlight. After cleansing, you can also charge them with positive energy by setting an intention, placing them under the moonlight, or using other methods.

Place crystals on your body
One way to use crystals to support your energetic alignment is to place them on your body. You can place them on your chakras, which are energy centers in your body, or on specific areas that may need healing or support. Some people find it helpful to meditate or simply rest with the crystals on their body for several minutes.

Crystals can also be used to support your energetic alignment in your environment. You can place crystals in your home or office, carry them in your pocket, or wear them as jewelry for added support and protection. This can provide a constant source of positive energy and help balance the vibrational frequencies in your surroundings.

Set intentions and be open
Finally, it’s important to set intentions for using crystals and be open to their energy. Before using a crystal, set an intention for what you want it to help you with, such as emotional healing or spiritual growth. Be open to the unique energy of each crystal and trust your intuition to guide you in using them.
